This piece highlights Esther, the Biblical character after whom the book Esther was named. The name Esther is done in gold with the Uncial style. The verse, Psalm 18:30, surrounds Esther's name, and is done in black ink over a gold background in the Fraktur style. The portions of verses above and below (Esther 4:14c and 4:16:c) are done in a classic Roman style with white gouache.
Story Behind the Art
I lettered this for Esther's graduation from high school. She is our 6th child. She loves the Lord and is a great blessing to our family. We look forward to how the Lord will use Esther to impact our world for Christ!

As for God, His way is perfect: the word of the Lord is tried: He is a buckler to all those that trust in Him.
Esther 4:14c - For such a time as this.
Esther 4:16c - So will I go . . . if I perish, I perish.
