Psalm 28:7
This verse is lettered in the Fraktur style, with Lombaric capitals for the LORD. Red is used to emphasize the LORD and set apart the second part of the verse which gives the respond to God's strength, protection, and help - rejoicing and songs of thanksgiving!
Story Behind the Art
Not long after Joy and I were married, my sister Kathleen went to Vianopolis, Brazil to teach in the New Tribes Mission boarding school for the missionary children. She enjoyed her time there. This verse became one of her favorites during her stay. I had it lettered and framed to surprise her when she got back.
