Psalm 34:18
This verse was lettered on rough watercolor paper in the Bookhand style. The way both the letters and the heart in the background break up visually denotes how we can become brokenhearted with the loss of loved ones, shattered dreams, broken relationships, etc. Our hope is in the Lord Jesus Christ and in His sacrifice for us. He is the ONLY ONE that can give the comfort and healing that we desperately need. He knows intimately the pain we are experiencing, and He is able to help us through, day by day. He lives to pray for us before the Father (Hebrews 7:25).
Story Behind the Art
I should have lettered this verse a long time ago! It has ministered to me and so many others. We were able to give it to the family of a veteran who survived horrific combat in Iraq and was recently killed in an accident on the freeway. May God's nearness and comfort minister to this family.
